my current seatclamp sits higher than the frame by a few mm. Not noticed any issue yet, but i cant decide wether or not long term useage could casue an issue. I dont want to crimp the frame or even worse, snap it. It is a carbon frame...
what do you reckon stw?

Can you get it in the right place by pulling the clamp open a touch while you put it on? I have to do that to fit my seat clamp on fully, it won't just slide on.

nah, there's only a small amount of tube that's available to clamp...so i'd have to get a very low profile seatclamp

I wouldn't be happy with that set up , there must be a seat clamp that fits properly .
