torn between these two frames at present, both at good prices one 2nd hand one new. breath more stretched out and xc, genesis geometrywoudl indicate better going down the steeper stuff.

will have a maxle 110-140 air rev going on them to be used for 2 hour rides or there abouts in teh lakes mainly xc but some steep up and down and the odd enduro. I'm leaning towards the genesis although about .5 lb heavier and more upright. I wonder in real terms how much difference this will make in enduros to ta middle of the pack rider?

any comments particularly form anyone who has ridden both welcome

I've got a Latitude and it's a very good allround bike. Not exceptional at any one thing but very good at everything if that makes sense? I also run 110-140 revs and these suit it perfectly. I think the Sanderson is for 100mm only is it not?

i've got a sanderson breath and they are very nice bikes. I'd say you need a 120mm fork on them. I've got a 16" fella and its very nice. Nice metal badge too :o)

I've got 120mm Floats on my 19" Breath. Absolutely love it. It took me a while to figure out the cockpit configuration though and i've ended up running loads of spacers, I guess it must have a short head tube or something. A friend with the same size "Life" had the same issue. Tried an Alptitude briefly before I bought the Breath, it felt a bit upright and a bit too much like my big full susser and I wanted something a bit longer and lighter.

I've had a breath for past 5 yrs - ride it with 130 vanillas, stood up to all abuse and more. even bent thompson seat pins (17stone!). Only photo I could find - its in the water ....honest (plenty of waxoyl in frame!)
