Very common with a lot of parts, such as these;

Blackspire

and these;

from Wellgo.

There are a myriad parts out there made by one company in the Far East and then stickered up as a BLackspire, NC17, On One, etc. etc. etc.

Although some products can differ in non-obvious ways - such as different quality bearings/sealing specified, or even in some cases different alloys used for parts etc. Some of these far east manufacturers offer quite a lot of configuration options in what they build (other than the obvious different logos being cut in things).

Good point Joe.

The superstar one must be much better quality that the Merlin/First one.

This is nothing new though. Very many of the super market and high street brands are made in the same factory only with slightly different packaging.

The products made in my factory for example. The exact same item is almost 50% dearer in branded packaging versus own label version.

Pretty sure the Nukeproof and Superstar carbon forks come from the same place.

Shhhhhh!

How will the executives of boutique brands ever manage to feed their children if you tell people this sort of information? Do you really want those children on your conscience?
