I'm wondering if with what's happening in Greece is the Euro better value now as i'm going on holiday to Italy at the beginning of April and obviously i need Euros and would like to get the best exchange rate i can

Even with all this recent news about the Eurozone, the £:€ has only varied by a penny or cent or two. Nowhere near the 25% crash in the GBP a while back.
At that variation, even changing 1000 will only gain or lose the price of a few small beers.
