Ok being a bit tight here, but two pairs of power links in my saddle bag got a bit rusty - is there any way of cleaning them for use ? Using just number 8 fencing wire and ordinary household bleach ?

Looking in my Girls Tool Kit, I have nail polish remover, a kitchen knife, a high heeled shoe.. OK not really but you get the idea.

Soak them in chain cleaner for the motorbike ??

Light surface rust won't make them useless. Ignore it.

Fine grade wire wool and a little WD40. Just how rusted are they?

Mostly rusted around the pins. WD40 - I have that, and wire wool. Will try, thanks !
