having real problems with the chain on my road bike going rusty and seizing up after a few days of non use, which i find odd as i never use the roadbike in rain or even if the roads are damp (total sunny day road cyclist me).

i've never had this issue before and the only thing thats changed is that i've started using muc-off dry lube and cleaning the chain, which i have to do regularly due to these issues, with juice lubes super gnarl (neat) in a park tool chainwasher.

anyone else experienced this with either?

and cleaning the chain

If you are only using a road bike in the dry you shouldn't be needing to wash the chain!

Dodgy knock off cheap chain?

Diesel works well for cleaning, and lubes at the same time.

i wouldnt have thought so either but the muc off dry lube seems to go thick and horrible no matter how well i wipe off excess after applying. shifts nicely but beyond that i really am not impressed.

wipperman chain as i have used for years.
