Mate text me earlier asking why his forks aren't moving, I told him to bring them round tomorrow and i'll have a look.
Rock shock recon air 140's he said they are just not moving! He assures me he doesn't have them locked out!!
They do need a service, but is there anything specific tthat could cause this? Any help welcome.
They could be hydrostatically locked. Water in them basically. New fluid will be required as the current oil may look like mayo.
Yeah hoping that's the problem as I can sort thatstraight away.
Odds on - from me: the non bookie - the lowers are hydro locked cause the damper is leaking (right hand side) into the lowers. Probably from the inner / internal - lower damper seal.
If under warranty - that's by far the best solution. Otherwise - you'll need the inner seal, upper fluids and lower fluids.
I can only guess this after 3 forks all with the same problem.
