Getting ready to do a Fox RP23 seal change for the first time. I have the Fox replacement seal kit which includes a small sachet of Fox Fluid. There's plenty of online advice and videos on how to do the job and it seems straightforward apart from one thing - whether or not to apply 'suspension compatible' grease to the seals etc when reassembling.
Some say that you should grease the seals with an appropriate 'suspension compatible' grease, and others say that you should ONLY use the Fox Fluid.
Grateful for advice from suspension experts on here on whether to grease or not to grease. Also if grease is the way to go, which one is best for the RP23 shock?

use slick honey on the seals and fluid in the chamber.

I recently did mine for the first time. I just used the float fluid to lube the seals and put about 2ml in each of the chambers. Suspension is lovely and plush.
I bought a seal kit this week , an planning on doing mine tomorrow. The mechanic asked me if I had suspension specific grease at home , I said no, so he gave me a blob of the stuff in a plastic bag to use as well as the fluid..
