I'm having problems loading routes with turn by turn directions on my Fenix 6X. If I manually load the route to my Garmin 820 it gives turning instructions but loading the same route directly through the Komoot Garmin IQ app or by loading via Garmin connect doesn't work in the same way. I get the route but no turn directions, and yes I have got "turn alerts" activated on the watch 🙂
Does anyone have an easy way to load to the 6x which gives courses with turn directions?
To get turn by turn on Wahoo, ride with GPS supports the turn by turn feature. There was a couple of other options but I always use RWGPS.
Garmin does the turn by turn calculations on the GPS, but Wahoo (and presumably Fenix) rely on it being included in the GPX.
My 945 gives me turn notifications. I have the beeps turned off, but it still vibrates and an arrow will pop up on screen.
So this route is in Garmin connect routes? Then send to device.
