I remember seeing a route from edinburgh to the forth bridge and perhaps beyond, can't remember if it was in st or another mag, anyone any ideas?

Mmm, the sustrans one could be it, but it was a bit more offroady I think.

TJ has a mostly off-road route from Leith to the FRB - try a PM for more details.

If you want a slightly less roady option, turn right where the path comes out alongside the A90 at Cramond Brig. There is a lane which leads down to the Forth, and then along the shore to South Queensferry. Could do it on a cx bike, but not a roadie I reckon. I think it is marked as an RCR rather than NCR.

From Edinburgh centre? Out to Roseburn, pick up the north edinburgh cycleway to crammond, Thru the dalmany estate to queensferry. all offroad after roseburn

Edit - a bit of footering about in Cramond. I can give you a multimap route if thats any good
