Can anyone help please? This must have happened to someone else.

My package from Rosebikes (DHL Germany) is somewhere in the system & I can't get hold of it. It's not missing - I can see from the DHL Germany website that it is somewhere in the UK because they couldn't find my address. I suppose I was out when they called, & I live in a block of flats with the post boxes behind the front door - hence no card left either.

DHL Germany say that I should contact the Royal Mail (??), which I can't do without a RM tracking number.

DHL UK say the tracking number I have been given is invalid.

I've e-mailed Rose bikes to see what they can do.

Anyone else had this problem? There must be an easy way out.

Doesn't the RM tracking automatically convert the tracking number if you check the 'Incoming International package' box?

That's presuming it is coming via the RM and not DHL UK

My Rose boxes got handed over to Parcelforce once they arrived in the UK. The tracking finished once it left Germany. Eventually turned up though.

Hi Pintofbest...

Send your order number and customer number to fin@rosebikes.co.uk and I'll track it down for you.

Some times it takes a couple of days for the DHL parcel farce hand over - we are looking into this (it only happens where there is limited DHL coverage)

Thanks Fin

Despite their shortcomings the Royal Mail still are the only ones to give genuine total UK coverage, regardless of claims...

Yes but they do like to jump on bike boxes with thier size 12's and damage bike frames
Then when you ask them about compensation, yeh you get £100 - ha ha ha ha

Funnily enough there is a large foot print on the last bike box I got....I was wondering why it was on there.

The box was also upside down and open with the frame sticking out when I opened the door at 9 in the morning to let the dog out. No sign of whoever dumped it there without ringing the bell.

Use the DHL tracking no. On the Royal mail (not PF) website, it will then give you the status & the PF tracking no, put this in the PF website for a more detailed status- I had the same problem with an order from rose (Whose service I cant fault, love the mug!), No card had been left & no brakes delivered, Emailed DHL who said it had been delivered, checked the RM website, where I found it had been left in the local PO for me to collect.
