That goes for all the other riders too, even the ones that does didn't complete. To even attempt stuff like this takes guts.
In another life I wish I had/could have done events like this. Truly grabbing life by the balls and living it.
Gives me hope that the next time I enter a race I'll win 🙂
I listened to one of the silk road racers talk about her experience at the Jen ride. The over all experience sounds life changing. I might stick to listening about it as the idea of your (only) shoes being fully frozen before you put them on and pedal off for a day just sounds crazy!
respect to anyone who even seriously considers it, never mind riding any of it, never mind finishing, never mind actually racing!
