My Wife has just bought a 650plus bike, and I run a bike with 41mm rims and std tires. My car can't take a boot mounted rack, so we're limited to roof rack options....
Has anyone got any ideas which system will allow these wider wheels??
Ive had a newer enduro with 27.5 spesh butcher tyres...and a new norco range with 27.5 hans dampfs one with no issue...old thule roofrack
I used a Thule 951with my Krampus, the straps wouldn't go round the wheels so i used extra straps sourced from ebay with ladder lock buckles.
I think the front wheel waggled a bit but it stayed secure.
Thule roof carrier with longer straps. AFAIK Thule are bringing out a new model designed for larger volume tyres.
