Anyone use them here? Is it crucial to use slicks and not normal tyres? Are they good for a good aerobic workout? Cheers

Not personally, but know of loads of people using rollers and MTBs. No need to change tyres, part of the advantage over a turbo! Good aerobic workout... Yes, as long as your balance is good!

I'm thinking about using a fatbike on some, if that doesn't work then obviously a 29er will do the job by the looks of it.thanks mate.

Looks like it's a goer then with the fatbike. Now to choose which ones to buy to try it out with.

Help needed please on roller choice. I've looked at a few and they all seem to be slightly too small in wheelbase size for my fatbike or even my large 29er.they all state they fit 700c obviously so with the 10-20mm size problem am I being too fussy and they will work? Cheers
