he didn't fall off, but he does look a bit sketchy.

is that because:

a) that's perfectly normal
b) he's on a little bike, so the contact point on the front wheel is further forward than it would be with the ground - reducing his fork trail...?

He looks sketchy because he has only just started messing about on them. That was his 2nd go. I too was predicting a crash.

It's not hard, it just messes with your mind, that's all. A lot of older people are more set in their ways and can't get their head round it. Kid heads are more flexible.

Also, adults are generally convinced that if they come off the rollers they'll go flying into the garage door like Cameron's dad's Ferrari in Ferris Bueller's day off. This doesn't happen, cos the rotating mass of the light bike wheels is nothing like enough to shift the bulk of a rider. Kids may not have seen this movie ๐Ÿ™‚
