Im sure my fork is overfilled thus slowing down the rebound. Should I go by RS' s figures or another?
What is ideal and weight? Im guessing 5cwt/fully synthetic?
what is the model and I'll tell you what you need
another thing you could try is take the adjuster out the bottom it will just pull out and use a 2.5 mm allen key sometimes the adjuster knob doesn't reach the internal part too well and see if the adjuster is working.
Its a Solo air R with a RLT moco cart fitted aftermarket. The bars stutter/kick back on slow JRA over a broken road let alone fast trails.
Will try the allen key test first tho ta ๐
is the damper out of the rev
Unsure but I cant see them doing 2x150mm totally different types
Nervous as I am of stepping into a Hora fork thread, I can't help asking why slow rebound would cause the symptoms you describe. From your description I'd be slowing the rebound and possibly letting some air out...
...but then I am a self-confessed numpty with fork settings ๐
the best way to see if they are over filled is to take the lowers off and see if the damper rod will go all the way up into the upper leg, if its get 3/4 and then goes solid you have too much oil in. then to get the correct amount take the knob off the top and the compression damper out clean it make sure the knob is in the open setting and try and insert it back in the damper should hit the oil in the upper leg when its around 30mm - 35mm from being tightened all the way back in" hope you understand that" you should take some out if the distance is to much or vv if the damper goes all the way in without hitting the oil but the RLT should have around 106ml of 5wt oil but off experience I do the measurement test.
Meanwhile, the Rock Shox warranty dept. have battened down the hatches & gone to Defcon 1...
