My LBS has had my forks for over a month now, just needing a service - says he can't get hold of the seals - has anyone else encountered this recently please?

Depends, lots of stuff is now out of stock with ZyroFisher (RockShox UK distributor), and the back order ETAs keep changing. Basics like 35mm wiper seals/foam rings are out of stock.

I am still doing service work, but turning away some as I cant get spare parts.

It might be worth seeing if they are willing to do a service if you provide the seals. Or send to one of the suspension service centres that holds their own stock.

Tf tuned were out of stock of genuine Rockshox ones a few months ago but had skf and maybe some enduro slick ones. Unless something has changed I’d have thought you could find something somewhere.

If it’s just a lowers service it’s easy to do at home with very little in the way of tools. Even an airspring service only need circlips on top of Allen keys and either a 24mm socket / cassette tool.

Thanks guys; my man is great, I'm certain it's not BS, it's just so not his style, so I'll have to be patient, I certainly wouldn't want to take the work off him. It's only a lower service. They are RS U-Turn forks.

Which U-turns? A month+ is a silly time to wait for a job like that, especially if you can find the seals and he isn't trying

Call Sprung Suspension, they had SKF Lyric ones in stock
Good service and a good parts inventory.
Now Mojo are separated from Fox, Sprung are no quicker at getting Fox parts out of Silverfish than anyone else, though, ou too stock items for current gear, long long delays, then forgotten despatch.
