OK no information on my new PIKE 2018 fork on Rockshox website anywhere?
Only service info
So i want to change my tokens in the airspring! right i say easy, i will get cassette tool and just undo the air spring cap, much better idea than the old 24mm spanner / socket that my sockets didn't really fit and spanners too big as i didn't have s specific fork flat spanner.
Cassette tool doesn't fit because of the long rod in the middle, so i think no problem i will just pop the valve core out and it will fit! NOPE!
Guess i'm going to have to buy a ROCHSHOX airspring tool for mega bucks, but can't even find one
Also why no manuals online for any PIKE, all i want to do is have a bit of a read about my new fork, i know most stuff but want to read about it!
LSC where should i set it for a good starting point? middle, how many clicks is that? rebound, where should i set it for my PSI. FOX list this for shocks and forks!!!
Please someone tell everything is going to be ok and its all alright and heres the link to the manual and you can easily remove the airspring cap with this clever little trick!
🙁
New bike, wanna ride, wanna sort it now!!!!
Thanks in advance xxx
Chop the centre out of the cassette tool? Not like it's really required to be that long any way.
Quite a few changes to my18 pike but they never publish anything about setup in the manual re. settings too dependent on bike and rider. heres the service manual...
BenPinnick might be along to give you a few pointers though..
Everything is online if you look, pike MY18 page here: https://www.sram.com/rockshox/products/pike-rct3-0#service

Cheers thanks, managed to hammer the center pin out of one of my old cassette tools and got the top off now.
Yes i'm ok with setup just really would like a manual stating some facts about the new forks, for £740 its a bit of a joke.
Thanks for the links but have been through them all.
