might just be me but ever since i serviced my pikes they felt a lot softer...i put this down to not putting in quite enough 15wt into the bottom of the fork.

Anyways having bought some more 15wt i duely refilled the fork legs to precisely 15ml, and now they feel a lot firmer.

Am i slightly mad or is this reasonable?
If i put more in will it get firmer?
What happens if i adjust the levels in the top of the forks?

put the right amount in, its not meant to be adjusted in that way unlike Marzocchi's open bath forks for instance

I think you're going along the wrong lines.

Lower leg oil is just a lube for the stanchions/bushings. If you put too much oil in there, the pressure under full compression will be too much for the stanchion seals and they'll blow out.

You can slightly overfill the Moco cartridge to increase ramp up but overfill too much and you'll blow the moco seals.
