about to hit the buy button on a RockShox Monarch RL Rear Shock (2015) to replace the antique fox float thats currently on it (needed a service ages ago/chipped scantion and its ****ed basically)
i know the rock shox isn't high end but looking for something cheap as can get one of these for the price of a decent service, any you guys have any experience with said shock, i know the prophet is single pivot regreessive? suspension (or was that progressive) will it ride like cack or worth a punt?

Its a good shock, but the tune will dictate whether it will work. Whats the tune on the current shock?
Make sure you get the low volume air can above all else. The Prophet needs the natural ramp up of an air shock, but it doesn't come on hard enough with a high volume shock.
