Wiggle are selling RockShox Monarch Plus RC3 Rear Shocks at a decent price and in the size I need for my mk1 Santa Cruz 5010. However they are H/L tuned and I believe 5010s work best with L/L or M/L? How much fine tuning do these shocks allow and what’s the real life impact on a vpp bike of using a different tune? I’m trying to work out if it is still a bargain if I have to send it off to TF tuned first.
