Do they still have an issue coming with low oil from the factory?
I don't really want to drop the lowers on 4 week old lyriks, but if the oil is likely to be low, then it will be worth it.

It's 2 bolts and a dead blow hammer. If you keep them horizontal in your work stand you don't even lose any oil. It's easily done in less than 30 minutes.

The question is why wouldn't you?

No there pretty good these days I've done several lower leg services this year on the club's bikes from yari to lyriks and fox and none have been low on oil
Only a pr of dvo i did had slightly less oil in them than advised .

Suspension specialist told me RS tend to be spot-on these days.

I've certainly found they're OK when I do get round to opening them up.
