I bought a pair of 2009 U-Turn Dual air Revelations from the second hand section for the girlfriends bike a few weeks ago. She's been riding them since and found them to be great.
However on taking the bike out of the car yesterday, I noticed a small amount of oil coming out near the top air valve, around the U-Turn adjuster. I've had a quick serach on here and on google, but havent found anyone reporting a similar fault. Has anyone had a similar fault - and if so what did you do to repair it?

I had exactly the same thing last week after storing my bike upside down overnight..

Some people have said that it's a damaged o-ring that will need replacing before my next ride..
Others have said that it's only a case of someone overfilling as there is only a tiny amount of oilbath lubricant in this section of the fork..

I have to admit to using the fork once since this happened but I think I will get it looked at before my next ride 'cos I can't be shelling out on a replacement fork if there actually IS a real problem.

Do you notice air pressure dropping too?

I had this when I first bought my Reba Air U-turns.
Does the bike lay on it's side in the car or upside down in the shed?

I was told by tft tuned that an o-ring in the Reba's around the top of the fork leg wasn't really large enough (I assume he meant thickness-wise) and meant that if it was stored on it's side or upside down this would happen. When tft service the forks they replace the o-ring with a slightly larger one to cure it.
I cleaned it up (it was only a slight wetting) & started carrying it upright in the car, rather than on it's side & I didn't have the problem again.
A while later I serviced the fork and since then haven't had the problem at all, so I wonder if the o-ring hadn't been seated correctly when it was new.

No drop in air pressure just an oil leak when the bikes on its side - I'm guessing this is what TFTuned are on about!

Thanks all for your suggestions!
