hi guys
i got a set of pikes rct3 160mm 650b forks, iv noticed there at the top of the travel theres about a 10mm movement which makes a knocking feel. one of my mates has the same problem too just wondered if this is normal?
iv had a little google and read the some yanks sent them back under warranty.
just seems odd to me that all the forks are 160mm...
i had a sb75 with 150mm pikes and they felt spot on
I've had 3pairs of 160s now, they all do it.
Hows the new bike?
Mine did the same (160mm) but mine are on there way back to sram after they dropped to 140mm
mmm mr waldo!! i love it fella loads more room and much much lighter!
Mine did the same until I played with the pressures. I think it's the negative air balancing out against the positive, which causes the top out.
It's normal and nothing to worry about.
