Might be a little vain but, if buying carbon road wheels with particularly bad, garish decals, do you:
a) remove decals and leave blank, no name, stealth look rims or
b) remove decals and replace with repro decals from another brand

Leaving the originals on is not an option as they are awful looking!

I took the stickers off my stans Alpha rims, unfortunately they've gone from looking nasty to looking cheep now so I think I'll pop down the signwriters and get some less garish sickers made up based on the originals.

I'd have handbuilt on some (no doubt identical) Gigantex rims, no decals, cost less, weigh less.

Always remove all stickers, especially ones on rims.
They cause fits in pigs and look tacky.

I've just looked at those wheels and to be fair, the decals look bloody awful.
You could take the stickers off and paint 'Eat my dust' on each rim, or your favourite quote, whatever. ๐Ÿ™‚

Or you could always auction the space off for advertising.

Leave them on, removal could well go badly!

Only option is to ride faster, so no one gets a good look...

Good honest vanity rather than self righteous pontificating.

i suppose i should have expected a post related to road bikes and aesthetics to have met with much ribbing from STW massive, i've been around long enough to know that!

The best thing about all these massive carbon rims is the space they give you for "All you haters suck my balls" stickers surely?

How about some reflective decals for the times you use them for the late night commute? ๐Ÿ˜‰
