I tampered with the air pressure in my forks but didnt have an o ring to monitor the travel so cut a hair band and tied it round the forks.

It wasn't today, but a few weeks ago. I needed a cassette spacer to put a 9spd cassette on a 10spd hub. Didn't have one, but a bottom bracket spacer fitted perfectly, and the chain shifts flawlessly!!

Didn't have the right spacers for my front mech to fit a smaller seat tube so i used old tube and some of hose lizard skin frame pads to space it out.. seems ok so far ๐

Are you sure? I thought a 9 speed cassette was the same overall width as a 10 speed.
