[Closed] Lengthening a Sram Chain

On the back of my question yesterday about chain length, and subsequently realising that I've made mine to short, can you just add the links back in using the old connecting pins, ala Shimano chains, or do you need to fashion something out of a multitude of powerlinks?

Was always told to use powerlinks to join SRAM Chains as joins are the weak spot

I don't think there's any such thing as a specific SRAM connecting pin like the Shimano ones, and I wouldn't suggest re-inserting the pins you've already driven out. Use another powerlink - I have two powerlinks in one of my chains and it's been fine so far...
