[Closed] Road race nimbyism, what to do....

This sign was put up last w/e during a local race. The circuit isn't exactly heavily used, maybe 3 times a year. Not sure how to approach this even if we did find out who put it up.

You could try not putting your hand in front of the camera lens next time.

Sounds like it might be a farmer or local living on the road? Maybe put your own sign up on top of it in reply.

you won't win by worrying about who, i would be looking to the police, they are the people who allow racing and it only takes a few vocal residents to get the circuit closed.

Yes but those narrow minded * have the power to get the circuit shut down if they're vocal enough. Some sort of dialogue with the SERRL organiser and parish council would be the starting point, get the British Cycling Regional Events Officer for the SE there too.

Well its someone who doesn't like cyclists as the sign is in the same spot where signs for a charity sportive were torn down recently. Sad muppet whoever it is.
