i know i know, silly idea. but i have a unloved and battered cx frame that i want to turn into a pub hack and i was considering putting a road fork on it, will i die? i guess the issue is head angle? anyone got a integrated road fork with a loooong steerer for sale?

Well, head angle would be a bi steeper but do-able I'd say.
Though if you're on the lookout for a road fork why not just go for the equivalent CX fork?

Bit steeper but not fatal. Probs more cheap road forks on ebay than cx forks.

Would you not need a caliper brake too, and lever. And therefore be mis-matched onthe back?
