Ok, to complete the winterisation (little late, I know!) of my 456 I'm thinking of putting some rigid forks on there. Has anyone done it and what length of fork did you go for?

I have some old on-one superlight forks, which I used on an inbred years ago, but I think they'll come up a wee bit short...

any pics of rigid'd 456's would be great 🙂

I've got round to building it up but not taken any photos since, rides ok good for blatting round Thetford forest or drudging thru the Cambridgeshire mud/clay.

I'm fairly sure the offset etc was the same as the 440s - so 26" forks

yes actually google cache here http://shrunk.net/9daf1c4a

excellent 🙂 looks a good distance from crown to tyre. I'm thinking the carbon cycles ones.

Spooky. On another thread not far from this one, my favourite spring ride from last year: The 4569er.

That's RC41s and a 29er wheel. This year it's the Inbred's turn.
