After a winter of road riding, long periods off the bike and feeling fat, unhealthy and slow and spending money on repairing bikes it feels like I never ride. I just have to share that the riding of bicycles does truly rock as proven by a great recovery / bike shakedown ride at Cannock today.

Bring on Cwm Carn tomorrow.

Enjoy your bikey weekends folks.

that is all

Can't understand NOT riding through the winter. It's never THAT bad and keeps you fit for this glorious weather.

rich - oooh i dunno

85 to pick them forks up form you

12 at cannock today

8 to the supermarket and back just now

maybe 30+ at cwm carn tomorrow

dunno about sunday

Forks seem to be losing a bit of oil round the seals, i'll see how it progresses but maybe it's just because they haven't been ridden that hard before?

A wife is a precious thing, especially when she cleans your bike. ๐Ÿ™‚

From what I recall of old STW days, Mikes wife is far too snooty and intellectual to clean a bike.

MrMW your a freelance av tech are you not. How can you be both short of time and money. All the freelancers I know may be short of one or the other but not both. Perhaps your accountant is more honest than theirs! You must let me know your day rate. ๐Ÿ™‚ unfortunately I had to be in the office today but I managed to stretch the ride home to a couple of hours going via Stamner park and Ditchling beacon. Well enjoy the rest of the weekends riding, i don't think I'll get out again until the ride to work on Monday, wife and kids to consider.
