Great edit and fantastic skills here. Certainly makes me want to go out and buy a Skoda 🙂

That was just a little exposed.  Loving how 'at one' he seems with his bike. It's all sooooo smooth

Unusual to see someone riding stuff like this on anything but a Liteville 301 or 601. Or, maybe I’ve just been watching too many Vertriding videos..
Excellent anyway, thanks for posting this!

Whoa, that was amazing. The best MTB film I've seen in ages. Great cinematography and the riding was stuff I've dreamed of but I've never seen anyone do it quite like that. I'm usually quite good with exposure but that gets a big NOPE from me. Awesome 🙂

Scary how far the glacier's retreated on the marmolada.

I couldn't even walk that. Are you supposed to clip on to the metal rope or it just a handrail?

Amazing scenery and filming though, from what i could see through my fingers.

Brilliant.

Did anyone else go and check flight prices and accomodation in the Dolomites after that?

Oh, top riding skills. You wouldn’t want to do that on a breezy day eh?! I’ve been to a couple of the locations in the film and can confirm that, yes, they are bum winkingly exposed - and that was walking and clipped into the cable!

@theotherjonv - the cable is there for assurance, there's specific kit for doing via ferrata - basically two karabiners at either end of a shock cord that's attached to your harness. On the harder lines (which are old unused rock climbs) the cable is also used for progress.

I've walked up the first bit he did opposite the Tre Cime. Those tunnels were built during the first world war when there was a battlefield throughout the Dolomites.

As whitestone says, the klettersteigs there are amazing. The WW1 stuff makes it even more interesting/thought provoking etc.
The idea of being up there sans goretex, sans klettersteigbremse in winter with people shooting at you is just nuts.

Love the dolomites

I'd be hard pushed to crawl along there on all fours!

Don't be ridiculous, are you mental?

You have to go up to Cranham for riding like that.

I rode a Liteville 601 in the dolomites few years ago and it is an amazing confidence inspiring piece of kit - but it didn’t inspire me to ride anything like that!!!

I have a Skoda and an Intense

The similarity ends there

Hell of a bike ride, that.

When they invent human carrying follow-me drones that you can tie into, I might have a go. Until then...

To be honest, I can relate to this kind of riding more - especially at my age....

The excellent Johannes Pistrol and LV 301, naturally.
