up one side of the valley and back down the other?
putting a ride together and was gonna put it in the loop.
With your back to Stonethwaite, the right hand side of the valley is ridable, the left hand side is pretty rubbish.
ok as a bit of a out and back on a bigger loop?
I didn't think the left side was rubbish and quite liked the challenge, but flowy it ain't.
gonna put it in the ride. nice pint at the pub in stonerhwaite to end with.
I'm with parked tiger, up the right bank facing up is fun, and the left bank is bitty, but easier in descent than ascent.
It'll be wetter than an otter's pocket just now too. True left bank best bet. You could always cross the footbridge just after the confluence of the becks and come back down the other side of the beck to Stonethwaite - still a rocky challenge.
