Going to the Lakes in a few weeks. Was thinking of going to Grizedale or Whinlatter and hiring a bike for myself and the other half but will either of these have anything for a six year old. He can manage the green and blue at Glentress including the essentials in the freeride. But five or six miles is probably far enough for him. Will also need a bike seat or trailer for our youngest.

Not sure about rentals but the blue at whinlatter is great fun and I think around 7-8km. The bottom half of the red south loop is also pretty easy and maybe another 4-5km or so.
