Seeing as in, at least some of the country, the ark could take a day off

Malverns, my mate DavidB finishing the climb to the Beacon after I'd lied a bit about how much of a climb it was ๐Ÿ˜‰ Lovely light. Not monster busy either. Rarely ride there is the day but FoD would have been a swamp.

Let's see some more then. It's that or go and talk to the in-laws. I feel I should be spared for a few more hours at least!

Howling 60mph winds here and no-one to ride with so decided the gym was a safer/easier option - though I kind of beasted it, so a bit trashed now! Managed a cheeky pre-Christmas dinner ride on Friday morning and aim to go out tomorrow when it calms down and Mr-ahsat isnt working so dont feel too bad about it.

not sure where you found a "dry" trail Al??!?! ๐Ÿ™‚

I walked home from the last train from Worcs the other night: 8 miles from the Train Station via St Annes, The Wyche, Cheeky Jubilee, the Hotel, and then down past the resevoir to arrive home at 02:30. And it was wet. Wet, wet, wet. Even the "All weather" stuff. I cant be arsed to take the bike on the hills at the moment. ๐Ÿ™

Did 3 hours on the road bike, and had to ford 3 streams across back roads. One was 'falsetto' deep!!

I looked like a drowned rat at the end. Might as well of gone off road ๐Ÿ™‚

sounds terrible. it isnt bad on the tops. wyche and beacon dry. climb from st annes is fine. lower down and out of the woods is grim. trying not to ride there as it us really cut up. it'd be 1000% better if it were frozen.

+1 for the Malverns today. Really nice along the tops. Spent most of the ride south of the Wyche today. The views of the flooded Severn were astonishing.

If you go up to the woods today....you'll find lots of mud and hoofprints.

Looking down on the fog-filled valleys from the mountains to the west of Madrid, beautiful day once we'd gone up a couple of hundred metres:

Xmas day round trip of 70 miles with Parsley Hay as mid point. The cafe was closed for some reason ๐Ÿ˜• .Have re-discovered that my overshoes are not water resistant and bike is not mud resistant. It took three eccles cakes to get warm at the top ๐Ÿ™‚

Yetitony - Roanhead? Nice, my neck of the woods.

This is where I went. Started t'other side of the furthest mountain, up the coast to here (Biarritz) then back via an inland route.

Managed to ride the status up the first climb of the MBR trail at Coed y Brenin, just to prove to myself it was possible, then i hammered it down the final descent.
