An good ideas? I've got landranger maps of the area but see there aren't that many bridleways.
I've done the gap route so would like to go somewhere different.
Was thinking either a mixed road/fireroad style ride on my cross bike or a more rugged ride on my mtb.
Duration about 8 hours at a brisk pace.
Hoping to stay at a campsite so any suggestions welcome. Ideally I could leave my van on site and then ride from there.
There's the black "killer loop" from Talgarth, but that will take less than 8 hours depending on how brisk your pace is. It's a fair bit longer than the Gap though.
Or combine a couple of routes together? If you have the MTB Brecon Beacons pack you could start in Talgarth, do half of one red loop, link up with the Talybont red and then finish back in Talgarth. That would be reasonably epic.
