Anybody got an idea as to how much we're talking about to replace a 1 1/8th steerer for a tapered one, in a RS Rev?

Loads. Whole new uppers.
New headset will be cheaper.

Shirely as you'd need to replace the complete crown assembly, not just the steerer. Selling the 1 1/8 and buy a tapered set, is probably easiest. Drop Loco an email to confirm

Not really worth doing either. You won't notice any difference. Just stick with 1 1/8 and use a reducer headset. 🙂

ok cheers all.
I've a 44mm headtube on my new frame and no forks bought yet so could go for either size.
But given that 1 1/8 RLTs can be had for £375 and the cheapest tapered Revs I can find are £500+, I think I'll take your advice
