This is our first full-suspension Revolution Triad. The frame was conceived as a confidence-inspiring platform for that most tried-and-tested suspension system, the Horst Link.
The forks and shocks are courtesy of the first name in MTB suspension, RockShox. We would be the first to admit that we consciously played safe here. That way, we can guarantee you won't be sorry.
•120mm-travel Horst Link 4-bar suspension system with cartridge sealed bearings at every pivot point. The Horst Link employs a pivot approximately 25mm forward of and 25mm below the swingarm's lower axle. This system helps eliminate pedalling-induced bobbing by neutralising the chain's leverage effect over the rear swing-arm. This translates as improved traction and smoother pedalling when you climb. Simultaneously, it separates braking and suspension forces, so the rear suspension remains active when the rear brake is applied.
•To take full advantage of the Horst Link we spec a RockShox Monarch 3.1 rear shock ('just as good as the ubiquitous Fox R:' bikeradar.com).
•Match the RockShox Monarch shock with a RockShox Reba fork and you can be confident that this bike's front and rear suspension system works perfectly in tandem to help guarantee an authentic and massively enjoyable trail-riding experience.
•Weight: 14.3kg/31.5lb.

just keep the parts and sell the frame
Bike to work scheme FAIL 😉
thanks sofatester ive been out the loop for a bit so iwould appreciate your opinion on what i could sell the frame for? thanks DTD
£300 on a good day.
that would be ok i suppose ?
does it not look rather familiar to a 5 year old Kona coiler air?
EBC bikes are well made and good value on the whole. I haven't seen that one tho but it looks like good value and well made
However you need to have the complete bike at the end of the year on btw - in theory it still belongs to your employer until that time and they can reclaim it.
bump
Its heavy for what it is, the Chris Boardman (available from Halfords) 120mm FS for the same money is lighter (28.3lbs vs. 31.5) and has slightly better finishing kit. They seemed to like the CB in the mag when they reviewed it relatively recently too, If I remember right, it got the singletrack recommended seal
