Anyone been? Worth a visit?

If so, do you know of any places to stay nearby?

Well worthwhile. Might even get to ride with one of the Athertons if you are lucky! I was.

It is quite downhilly, ie fairly un-groomed and apart from the red which only goes halfway down the hill is a proper DH venue.

That's a good thing.

Went the other week had a great day out it will be even better when they get that fourth track open and the freeride track runs right to the bottom, far better than Antur Stiniog in my opinion which just seems like an uplifted Llandegla with big rocks concreted in.

Is Revolution still good fun on a hardtail?

Yeah, that b and b is bike friendly. I've stayed there once, and a friend has 3 times. They are really friendly, the food is goof, really nice rooms etc. And it is 2 minutes from revolution.
