I shortened the hose on my reverb a couple of months ago and bled it at the same time as there was air in the system after the shortening. Took it out for a ride yesterday and the post won't drop. It's basically brand new so any idea what to do?

You've probably pressed the lever at some point during the bleed. Doit again following instructions to the letter, it's only a 5 min job

It's either going to be a bleed issue, loss of air or seat collar too tight.

Check the air pressure and 14th collar first as they're easy. Then bleed it again if still not resolved.

Undid seat collar last night, checked pressure too. Was 220psi so topped it up.

Re-bleed then. Arse.

I've had this, the remote was solid, it turned out to be a slight kink in the cable

The remote presses down and returns, just the post doesn't move.

Re-bled it, works fine. I guess I made a mistake last time.
