I've got two reverbs, I've never done anything to the apart from top up the air or give them a bleed.
How many people give them a service?
Both mine rock back and forwards, so I'm assuming the top cap external bush is worn.
1 is just over a year old, is this a warranty job?

I've done mine - full service and replaced top cap.

Use the videos on Youtube and it's all straight forwards. Just make sure you get all the bits you need before you start!

Got mine done by lbs for about 40quid after 2 years, although not overly high mileage, mine sagged about an inch and the return was getting slower. Looked at the youtube videos, decided the value of my time and the likelihood id stuff it up with my 10 thumbs.

I bought the tools and did them myself. We've got 4 in the garage so it made sense to learn. Pretty straight forward to do.

Brilliant - was about to post similar thread but don't need to bother now! 🙂

About to do mine - replaced hose with new barbs yesterday.
New Rockshox bleed kit ready to be deployed - looked at Youtube vids.
Looks straight forward but still have this nagging feeling that all won't go to plan!
Any pearls of wisdom before I **** it up? 😉

You can do it without tools, you just need the depth for the piston. The tools were cheap from Amazon from memory

Well that went well 😳
Had a perfectly functioning Reverb an hour ago.
Now it pretty much doesn't work. Those bloody syringes are horribly to use too.
Spongy at the lever, no travel and you can pull the seat up by a few inches by hand.
I know it's hardly the end of the world but felt totally deflated at the moment of truth when you try it for the first time and it's gone tits up!
Going for a ride anyway - just won't use the dropper and will try again another day - or get it done by someone who knows what they're doing! Arses!

Rascal, did you just do a bleed? Sounds like you've got air in the line.
Follow the SRAM vid on you tube and it shouldn't be an issue.

I'll be doing mine this week. Bought 2nd hand so no warranty.

Mine's sagging slightly when i sit on it. I've bought the "basic" service kit for 8 pounds, hoping that sorts any issues. The full kit seems to be about 40-50 quid, plus another 40 for the top cap if that develops play!

In hindsight, I'm not sure these are a particularly good 2nd hand purchase.

Goldigger - that's the one I followed - admittedly I rushed it a little.
There's def air in the line - will have another go in the week.
Did you use this without problems?

Check out Matt at plush suspension.

Some things are just better when a professional does them, this is one of those occasions IMO

Sounds like wear in the bushes (one inside collar one of sealhead) not really a warranty repair.
A full service will be around the £80 mark which should be everything replaced and the post stripped to component parts, a £40 is likely to be just a lower post service, not going inside the upper post and dealing with the hydraulic & air systems in there.

Just don't order a top cap from the jokers at TNtuned - I waited 3 weeks and in the end had to cancel the order as I hadn't received one - got one off ebay 2 days later for less.
