Ok - So I've just fitted a new reverb (finally), but it has just come to me...
How do I turn my bike upside down? ie: fixing a flat, or taking the wheels off?
What are others do? How do you go about these simple things with the button mounted?
Left lever, mounted on the left.

Stop it - you'll make Al cross !

(seems everybody uses the "wrong" side lever and puts it on upside down - I don't have a reverb though, so this is hearsay)

Mount it underneath on the opposite side.

Rh lever, under the bars, left side...

Should sort the problem and save you the £80 + replacement cost...

Must be a picture of this somewhere ..

I wanted left on the left to matchmaker with my elixir brakes. Have mates who have ridden with right on the left but not keen on it personally.
I'm guessing there is little I can do then really? Other than whip the wheels off with the bike upright..?

Careful, there will be someone along in a minute to tell you that you're wrong to turn your bike upside down like that.

There is no need to ever turn your bike upside down

I just turn it upside down, the lever doesn't seem to be very bothered.

Buy KS Lev.
Buy Southpaw

Admittedly not a cheap solution.

Get a big bell and mount it next to the reverb remote.

Or very effective if you have the right amount of gears on your bike...

nobeerinthefridge - man up, if it's raining things are going to get wet. guessing there's no beer in your fridge because it's full of organic fat free yogurts 😉

I have a left hand lever, mounted on the left hand side - but it's mounted upside down and operated with index finger. Works a treat.

I like the way it's mounted, and have only just bought it, so not jumping at the idea of buying a KS lev to be honest 😉
The shoes sound like a good idea, and yeah, when it's raining, I'm wet already.. So that matters not 🙂

The shoe thing works or just use uneven ground. Not managed to mangle my remote in 3yrs or so.

Someone actually makes the very product you need in your life. May I introduce the Flipstand:

Obviously a pair of shoes and an old shirt will do job almost as well.

I have seen a few posts of the "I snapped my reverb lever" kind relating to flipping it upside down, but whether it's that common I don't know. I just did what everyone said and mounted a RH under the left. It's a perfect position for my thumb I find.

In my case I'm running 1x10 and the lever fits very neatly to the clamp of the left brake lever (X0).

Mines on the matchmaker clamp with my brakes and front shifter.

With answer pro taper bars and peaty grips the reverb lever doesn't come in to contact with the ground

I'm obviously doing it all wrong. I have a left hand button mounted on the left above the bars AND my bike is turned upside down before every ride 😯
