May be a daft question this?

Ive not long fitted my reverb but the hose is well too long.....Are hose cutters needed or can the hose be cut with knife?

Going out riding tomorrow and need to trim the hose but have no cutters but dont want to attempt it and then have no working post.

Thanks

I used a sharp Stanley knife and it was fine

New blade on the stanley knife & it will cut straight through leaving a nice clean end 8)

Is it 2011 or 2012?

2012 Has threaded bard which makes things so easy, just unthread remote from hose, cut, thread remote into hose, job done.

Video for Barbed Type

Video for Threaded Barb type

It's really easy and normally you don't need to bleed it. If you do there is a SRAM Tech vid for that too.
