Have just serviced my reverb and it seems to be holding air okay. Reattached pump to check and pressure read about 185psi, down from 250psi. I understand it will lose pressure as it fills the pump (I think) - is this normal amount of loss?

Yes because it's a small space that you pressurising

it's a pretty small air reservoir...
