I have a pair of Revelation Dual Air 140mm without U-Turn.

I'd like to fit them to my son's bike, which takes a 49cm fork height (Revelations are 53cms).

Is it possible to take 'em apart and do something to shorten the fork?

Yeah, they're all travel so they're adjustable with spacers. Though i have no idea how it's done.

or you could just put a load of negative air in, that'd shorten them a bit

would that not make them blow through the travel dead quick?

Don't forget that a longer travel fork also sags more, so the difference wouldn't be 4cm, but 2.5-3cm, which isn't that much. would slacken head angle by a degree or so.

Yeah I just did this I have a guide PP made if you'd like me toi email you it. Plus google 'sram tech' and there are videos on how to remove the lowers etc. One tip when hitting the negative valve don't use the nut use the dust cap.
