I've changed the main pivot bearings as they were shagged, and now don't really want to buy a specific bearing kit, or to pay to have them changed.
Its the fsr/horst whatever it is called that im hearing poses the most problems.
Any tips for replacing without having the actual tools? I am told there is a small spacer bewteen the 2 bearings that is pretty tricky to get seated correctly.
I was thinking surely a threaded rod with some washers may do the trick.
Anyone done this themselves?
