As above. the rp23 is a high volume boost valve; how will it change the ride of my 08 enduro sl?

It will massively improve it. The afr is unbelievably ****.

Or even better, replace it with a Van RC (of which I happen to have a practically brand new one from my old SL which I could be persuaded to sell )

the afr was w*nk but i got it tuned by tftuned and it really helped. more interested how the 'boost valve' and 'high volume' will affect the ride. gonna stick with an air shock; cheers for the offer of the van rc tho'

On a 2008 stumpy I went from an AFR to a pushed rp23. Huge improvement...

I read this thread and it reminded me what a piece of crap the afr is on my 09 stumpy pro, so just ordered an rp23 too, cant wait to try it. Any body tried a monach rt3?

I think the AFR is a bit too maligned. If you do the air sleeve service (a piece of p*ss 10 minute job on the AFR) and don't bleed the negative air (as they apparently used to in the factory), then it becomes a lot more 'active'. It's a solid well made unit bit still a bit over-damped though.

Bregante - how much would you be looking to sell the Van RC for? Could be good for the alps ๐Ÿ™‚
