I've got a bit of play in the bottom bracket and need to replace it. It's the original XT hollowtech that I'll be replacing. I'm not sure what to put in it. Can I just go for a new XT BB or ????
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Yep, assuming you actually mean hollowtech II you just want one of these [url= http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/shimano-xt-m770-slx-m660-bottom-bracket/rp-prod41445 ]SLX/XT from CRC[/url] (the outer cup will be visible on your bike to confirm identification) or any generic HT 2 clone from Hope, CK or any of the other numerous manufacturers
