I've noticed my Bonty Race Lite road tyre has a small hole and the inner tube is sticking out slightly. As it's not very worn seems a shame to chuck it so wonder if I could repair using a small section of old tyre as a patch on the inside and glue/sew it on. Will I die?

I wouldn't - road tyres at high pressure and splits in the casing tend to equal puncture. Just buy a new tyre - they're not that expensive.

Bin it, not worth the risk.

The repair should work but there's the psychological factor as above - do you trust it?
