I want my Lyriks done in a custom colour......is it possible to have both the uppers and lowers powder coated (ie will the baking process stuff up the stanchion coating?)

To powder coat them they would need stripping first. The lowers should be ok but the bushes would need to come out first, & this isnt really a DIY job.
I wouldnt bake the crown/steerer/stanchion assembly after assembly though. Powder goes off at about 160c - 200c. It shouldnt husrt them but I wouldnt risk it. The mfrs obviously paint them before assy.

Personally, I would get them painted with a good quality two-pack wet paint. It should go off hard enough.

Some stanchions are bonded with an amount of glue/resin which might be damaged with the heat.

Ano doesn't mind heat too much, though I would maybe try it with some dead old uppers and see what happens.
